What is Volumetric Weight?

Volumetric weight is used when your package is large but not heavy. It reflects the space it takes up in the plane, not just its actual weight.

It's calculated like this:
(Length × Width × Height in cm) ÷ 5000

Shipping companies charge you based on whichever is higher: actual weight or volumetric weight.

So if you think your parcel takes up a lot of space (like pillows, clothes, or snacks in a big box), calculate and include the volumetric weight too.
